Uniforms

Wearing of club uniforms is a requirement when participating in all Bowls Tasmania South and Bowls Tasmania controlled events and also for some club events. Polo tops, jackets and caps in club colours are available at the clubhouse. For all other items there is the local Bowls Shop and various online bowls stores.

Practice

The Rosny Park Bowls Club encourages consistent practice and recognises it’s role in on-green success. Please make use of the resources available on the club’s website found here

Also, keep an eye on the club’s Facebook page for any green closures.

Coaches and Umpires

There are coaching and officiating courses held by Bowls Tasmania in the South for members who would like to assist the club by gaining their accreditation. Please contact the Secretary or any board member for further details.

Coaching and mentoring for current and new players is available through the club.

Rainy Days – Contact

If there is a possibility of cancellation of play due to rain or any other occurrence be sure to monitor the clubs Facebook page

Travel Arrangements

It is the responsibility of players to ensure that they arrive at playing venues by the appointed time. Carpooling between players is encouraged.

Duty Rink

Each week one rink of players bears the responsibility ‘Duty Rink’. Duties of these players include setting up of refreshment facilities as well as raising/lowering of flags, inspection and setting up/cleaning up after games. Duty Roster players should arrive at the club approx. one hour earlier to ensure that there is sufficient time to complete the required tasks.
